About This Page: This is a discussion on Food and Beer Reviews within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Two best places
1) Rocky's in Burbank
2) Elkins Ranch Golf Course in Santa Paula
Now that I got that off my chest, I am off to Rocky's!!
Look I don't know if any of you know about it, but at the Grand Lux Cafe at the Beverly Center they have the "Max Burger" and this is seriously one of the best burgers I had after 10 years of living in LA. Sure I had Apple Pan and this and that, but this burger takes the cake.
It's a half pounder with thick apple wood bacon, cheddar and bits of short ribs on it. I usually get it medium rare so the juices are dripping down my hand as I eat it.
Man this is a tasty ass burger. I miss it dearly. If you don't go and try it you are not a true burger person. Bold words, I know. But I mean business here.

Concur...I had the Max at the Grand Lux in the Venetian.
Gotta try the Ostrich (Yes I said Ostrich) burger with swiss at Jake's in Oldtown Pasadena. Delicious and nutritious. Very low in fat but great flavor...
Don's Place ........ damn a Don's burger sounds good right now. See ya a Rocky's BD.
Yes Don's Place was the ol' time best...damn people shouldnt have burned it down. I went last night...it was great...
maybe in the next month or so, I ll plan a watch party over there for people in the SFV. There are 5 TV's in this place and it has a FULL bar with great beers on tap.
The best burger I have ever had was at this little place in Porterville, CA, called Juicy Burger. The one to get was called the J.O.B., and I've never had a better burger, period. I also think Art's in Riverside, CA has a pretty damn good burger too...
