There are certain chain restaurants that are around that are horrible (Applebees, Chevy's) . Or there are chains that have outlived their purpose (Sizzler, Stuart Anderson's Black Angus) that one has got to wonder who still goes there. If Im watching an old VHS i taped of Perfect Strangers in initial run and I see a commercial for a chain, its usually a sign that I don't want to go there. These chains make me go WTF?
I am amazed how some these places make it. I suppose appealing to the lowest common denominator does pay off.
Any more nominations for the list???

There is only one Black Angus I will eat at, It's on Victory Blvd in Woodland Hills. I don't know why, but the food and service there is great. I've been to other Black Angus' in Northridge and Santa Clarita and I agree they suck. Outback Steakhouse sucks too.
Since I feel this way about the largest chain in the world, this topic certainly can be debated.

Well, my local Applebee's is ALWAYS packed. You should eat there, it's actually pretty good, and with a $1.50 beer, 1/2 price appetizer happy hour, why not?
Something tells me someone lost his busboy job at TGI Fridays and is still bitter.

My parents love Stuart Anderson's and frequent the one on 17th and Tustin in Tustin/Santa Ana. It is ok, but for a steakhouse, they can't cook a steak right.

Been there. For a restaurant. . .they can't cook a food right either. That's just my opinion though. The only thing I liked when I went was the bread.
