well...at the risk of this place being bombarded...It's called Los 7 mares. Its not the indoor restaurant. It's an outdoor place on N Broadway and S Avenue 24. I've been going there since i was about 5 and its great. They have great tacos (pastor and asada), ceviche, and cocteles de camaron.
Depends on which kind you like also. I like a good Mexican fish ceviche, but if you haven't tried it, find yourself a Peruvian restaurant and try their ceviche. The ones I've tried are done with a seafood mixture (fish, shrimp, octopus, sometimes squid) and spicier. Oh so good!
El Pollero 95 on Gage Ave in Bell is the best I've had. Tey fry their own tostadas there. Don't know if it is still there, it's been a long time, but that place was awesome back in High School after a night of drinking. Plus, one of our friends dad's owned it, so we used to et hook ups.

My buddy lives right around the corner from there...why have I never seen this place? What else do they serve? You highly recommend it?
My favorite place is Guillens La Playita on Lincoln Blvd just south of Rose Ave. in Venice. It's a little hole in the wall looking place, but the food is great. Good shrimp cocktails, too.
And great prices!
Haven't had it in a while. My old housekeeper was peruvian so she'd make some great ceviche's. We also visited her family in peru and got the authentic stuff like you see in Anthony Bourdain's:NR's Peru trip.
I ignore the mexican stuff and if I have a choice, i'll go with poke over ceviche from most restaurants, the acidic citrus doesn't always appeal to me.
