Wendy's Burgers suck ass. The best burgers at a major fast food chain hands down - Carls Jr.

Best Burger Period is a toss up Western Bacon Cheeseburger or a Sirloin Mushroom Ciabatta from Jack in the Box.

Best Fries - AGREE. McDonalds is the best as well as most child friendly.

Best Mascot? Jack.

I agree with Panera Bread being number 1 in the category that considers all chains.

Wendy's has excellent chicken sadwiches, their burgers aren't very good imo.

I don't love Wendy's burgers. In fact, the only reason I make the trip there is the Frosty.

The only good thing about wendy's is the good 'ol frosty. If they ever brought back the mozzarella chicken supreme then that would have to be the best burger. Its a shame that they treat this sandwich like the ribwich

I believe it's a joke to exclude In-N-Out Burger from that list...and that Subway even made the list to begin with...

Thee aren't many other places that offer shakes that don't taste like chocolate flavored Pepto Bismol either...

I feel for you. I can get over your being a Duck fan, since you seem to know what you're talking about, however a statement such as the above speaks to the malnutrition you have suffered. To rate a burger from Carl's or JITB as the best period speaks to either your horrible taste, or the egregious way your family has deprived you of the great delicacies offered elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor, go to In N Out, order a #1 and get the burger animal style. Enjoy the freshness of the lettuce, the quality of the ingredaments, and the nirvana that the gooey cheese and sauces provide. Eat, and learn.

Truth be told, there's nothing wrong with Carl's or JITB. However, to label their burgers as in any way comparable to a Double Double is just plain lunacy. I could have you committed with a snap of my fingers for that and legions, scads even, would be behind me all the way.

And I am not an In N Out fanatic. True, I relish their burgers, but if we're talking about the best burgers "period", as you stated, then I would not mention In N Out, for the beloved Double Double would not hold a candle to the Widowmaker served up at Claim Jumper. And even then, there are burgers out there that could put the Widowmaker to shame.

If the best burger you can come up with originates from a fast food joint, then may God have mercy on your soul.

I don't understand why Subway is considered decent. I've rarely had a decent sandwich there. Quiznos is much better. The only thing Subway has going for it is more variation that leads to me feeling I'm eating better by putting on more veggies.

I think subway lets you have a few different flavors. Quizno's steak tastes the same as the chicken and the turkey and its $10 bucks for a friggin mediocre sammich. I used to go to Quizno's alot, but i just cant make myself go there when i can just get a nice Subway Club with spinach and dijon mustard.

Last time I went to Quizno's I made a mistake of ordering what they call "pastrami" over there. It was so awful (with the sandwich falling apart to boot), I haven't been back since. At Subway I have my reliable spicy italian toasted which always hits the spot in need.

I figure that's the reason. That still doesn't explain Pizza Hut and KFC (is Zagat owned by Pepsi Co.? Hmmmm). IMO, even crap pizza from Dominos is way better than Pizza Hut. I could squeeze all the grease and oil from one medium Pizza Hut pizza into my truck's engine and run for 10,000 miles.

KFC? Are you people freaking kidding me? Look, I'm not a health nut, but I've had just about enough of what KFC passes for fried chicken. Original recipie is oily and disgusting and the only style I can enjoy is the extra tasty crispy which doubles down on the worst part of the package, the crust! It ain't fried chicken I know, but I'd take some El Pollo Loco or a chicken tarna plate from Zankou over anything from KFC any day of the week.

This poll just reinforces my belief that America is full of idiots and sooner or later I'll tire of trying to keep my head above water and finally succumb to the unyielding dumb.

By the by: I take Pizza Hut over Domino's every day of the week and twice on Sunday. 'Course it sounds like UG prefers his pizzas sans cheese, seeing as he enjoys the bready, saucy, sometimes pepperoni-y goodness of the 5 for 5 Domino's deal.
