Bailey's vs. any other Irish Cream on the market

I'm on my 2nd glass of Carolans Irish Cream over ice and I'm feeling pretty good, but that's beside the point.

On Christmas, I had a glass of Bailey's Irish Cream over ice. It was good too, but it wasn't any better than this Carolans.

One big difference is that Carolans is half the price.

To me, that is the only difference that I can tell.

As for Baileys-Its true Caroline is 1/2 the price and the difference is probably minimal but for some reason I always go with Baileys.

Heres a good Xmas/Holiday Shooter for ya.

1 part vodka(Vanilla if you really wanted to go all the way)
1 part Baileys
1 part Creme De Menthe

You can also sub the Creme De Menthe for Hot Shots for a nice cinnamon spin. Kou can substitute Frangelico as well.

I recommend any of Hipcheck's shooters... and will try this tonight.

Plus, I got all three (Stoli Vanil, Baileys and Frangelico) for Christmas!

I'll have to try some of these other recommendations... I've always gone with Bailey's - only because it was the first of it's kind that I tried - but I'm liking the idea of trying something that tastes the same and is 1/2 the price!?

Hot chocolate + Caramel Baileys = GOOOOOOOOD! (Haven't tried it with the mint yet - but I can imagine it's great as well!)

Try making your hot chocolate with half of a Hershey bar melted in it, add a shot (or more) of peppermint schnapps. It’s sorta like a Girl Scout cookie.
