Just got back from Vegas (Kings at 65 to 1 at the Venetian...) and Mesa Grill was as good as I had hoped. I had the blue corn pancake with duck and Southwestern Pork Tenderloin with sweet potato tamale. Worth every penny.
If you are looking for some great turkey try Handcarved in the Caesar's Palace food court place. The stuffing was really good and turkey cooked perfectly!
We have a good German restaurant down here in SD too over by Sea World but sadly no beer garden.
A-Frogirl and Catman39,
Lol, i've been jonesing for some more German food after my trip to Hofbrauhaus last month so I came across Kaiserhof a couple of weeks ago while searching online. I haven't had time to try it out yet but my RE agents friends wife used to work there and she said it was good and authentic.

The tradition for my group is to stagger over to Fatburger after the game.
Well then I had to see you last year, because I was there and it took 45 minutes for them to get my order right last year after one of the employees went home with my burger - my first Fatburger experience.
All I know so far is that Nommie, some of his hockey buddies and I plan on going to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill, more than likely after the game.
The rest, we'll just go w/ the flow, meaning whatever we are in the mood for or whatever is affordable.

Needless to say, I won't be going back this year.
I had coupons for free Fatburgers and gave them up after tasting my first one... Give me In-N-Out any old day...
I know of a good one near Charleston & Nellis...but still wish there was one closer to where I live...
You all crack me up with all the burger joint talk... it's VEGAS!! Gotta hit a buffet or 2 while your there. If you are looking for a really good buffet, the Bellagio is pretty damn fantastic. And if you don't mind a little cab ride or whatever, there is always the seafood buffet at the Rio.
For a nice steakhouse, I like Hugo's Cellar downtown at the 4 Queens.
I am partial to Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants because of Chicago days...big fan of Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris and Cafe Ba-Ba-Ree-Ba at Fashion Show Mall
