About This Page: This is a discussion on Food and Beer Reviews within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. I know we have talked about sushi on here...but what I want to talk about are the All You Can Eat Sushi places.....where are they and how much?
I have
I got my start eating sushi at Todai and while I enjoyed it then, I now won't go there, or to others, because I've had such better sushi at other places.

Todai is like the McDonalds of sushi. It's okay but there's sooooo many better options out there. I will say that their dessert section is pretty rocking, though.

I don't like sushi, but have been to Sushi 21 in San Pedro with friends....we've been there several times, so I'm guessing they like it! I want to say it's around $25....
You're not the nut. Good, fresh sushi is expensive. Anyone spending $20 for all-you-can-eat sushi is the nut.
Yep, but trust me, i'm a nut.
I don't eat any buffet or take-out chain sushi either, hell...I won't get sushi from a non-sushi restaurant regardless of it's classiness.
It also has to be made by a japanese person, preferably a man. I also like to watch it being made so unless the party i'm with is too big i'll sit at the bar.

Kyoto in Northridge (wonder if its the same owner as the one in Santa Clarita?)
I know they used to be, but I'm not sure anymore. Something tells me no. I heard through the grapevine that the owners weren't very pleased with the hospitality that the staff at that one provided. I've never eaten there, so I don't know.

I believe they do. They are run by the same Kyoto's in Stevenson Ranch and Valencia. Personally, I prefer the Valencia location. Large (unlike the Stevenson Ranch one), and good quality fish!
is midori the one with all the crazy list of rules?
like you must be done with one plate to order the next
and you can only be there for a certain amount of time?
There is a family that has three sushi places in San Diego, Hana in Oceanside, Taisho in Carlsbad and my favorite, Tadashi in La Jolla. I think it is $24 a person, which isn't too bad and the sushi is always very, very good. The trick is you have to finish what you eat. If you don't finish something you order, you have to pay for it.
