Really? Thanks. I haven't heard good things about Todai's sushi. I wonder if they're crab legs are any good. I'm not too choosy about type, but *fairly* fresh does matter.

Crab legs are typically boiled and flash frozen before they even get off the boat, so "fairly fresh" is an understatement.
If you are ever in Salt Lake there is an all you can eat Chinese buffet near the Arena. They ahve crab legs but you have to run when they bring them out cuz the go real fast! Good price too, during the Olympics it was $7.95 lunch w/ soda!
Try the Reef in Long Beach. I know for a fact they have them and its a kick ass brunch to boot! I think its about 25 bucks. Try and sit in Augie's section.
On that same note-anyone know of a seafood brunch that has oysters on the half shell?

I'm in SD and I usually go to Hotel brunches or seafood buffet's for all you can eat anything. I don't do indian casino's but my step-bro does and he likes the buffet's there. The Westgate Hotel's Seafood Soiree in downtown is great for a friday dinner, expensive though at $52 for an adult. I get my moneys worth though.
I used to go to a place in Pacific Beach that had a 3lb limit of snow crab but they closed sometime early this year. My party would take them to the limit each time.
My parents went to a place in Lake Forest that was an all you can eat Chinese Seafood place. Forgot what it was called, though. It is kinda new, and they said it was good and very reasonable.
And wasn't there a place near Knott's that had all you can eat crab legs?

Hmm did not know that. Interesting. What's the deal with the difference in taste and texture then I wonder?
If you've ever watched a season of Deadliest Catch, they'll show them processing the crab a little bit. They unload the crab boats either in town or onto processing boats and they send the crab along conveyor belts that have saws on the side. The crabs are usually strapped onto the conveyor belt and then as they slide along the belt the saws slice off the legs and drop the bodies of the crab into a bucket at the end of the belt.
