Yeah, Curbishley needs to figure out the midfield quick like, Lee Bowyer looked TERRIBLE, ditto Zamora, Boa Morte, Ferdinand, McCartney, Noble. If West Ham is going to be succesful in this league, they're going to need a class playmaker (see: Fabregas, Arteta, Elano, etc.) AND a shut down midfielder. This is why I'm shaking my head that they never gave Mascherano a chance, now Liverpool has an abundance of them.

And none of the names (save Gudjohnson) do anything to inspire. Solano? Dyer? Please ...

I'd kill for Fabregas but that's not going to happen.
