Tried a beer last night that I picked up at Hollingshead Deli in Orange. It's called Supplication and is brewed by the Russian River Brewing Company. A most unusual beer. As it says on the bottle, it a "brown ale aged in oak barrels with cherries added". It's rather expensive, at $9.99 for a 12.7oz bottle. Excellent flavor, very complex, each sip seemed to reveal something new. The guy at the deli said to drink 1 bottle now, and put the other away for a few months. After trying the first bottle, the second is calling to me right now.
