Sorry roenick, never have used the kirkland brands. And the high priced stuff you can only get at the feed or pet stores always seemed to be "Fart Food" for every dog I've ever had. Believe it or not, most of them did very well on Alpo lamb or chicken and rice blends. They were all healthy and lived a long life, for pit pulls. the youngest died at 14yrs old.
You may just have to experiment for a bit, trying this or that brand till you find one that you can afford, the dog likes, and doesn't gas you out of the house or cause to much weight gain or loss. Good luck.
