I was enjoying myself at a neighborhood Fourth of July Block Party, when I happened to notice an unusual hot rod at the end of the block.
Turns out it's an authentic Barris Custom rod called Ratula! Based on the
Dragula Hot Rod from the Munsters, Ratula is a bare bones rod, if you excuse the pun.
Instead of a lavish coffin like Dragula, Ratula is a stripped down version, which are often called Rat Rods. Get it? Rat rod... Ratula.... whatevs. I thought it was cool.

I'm not a car guy, but I can appreciate the work put in on this. In a sort of related story, I came across the George Barris version of the Batmobile... in Hot Wheel form. Ever since I was a little kid, I wanted a Batmobile. This weekend, my dream came true.
