I think Murdoch knows that the favors for the elite rich in this country, while having been very beneficial, are near the end of their effectiveness, and it's going to take more liberal policies to bring the economy back with a safe landing.

At the very least, I can't think of a person who still depends on a functioning economy for profit that can be cheering for four more years of Bush-style economic policies.
