I'll tell you what, the thing about these Dodgers is you don't know what to expect week-to-week. As streaky a team as I've ever seen in my 50 years of baseball experience. We're not seeing enough consistency from them on a game-to-game basis. Lately, they've been getting good starting pitching lately, which is the most important part of any team's pitching, but they haven't shown enough consistency on offense. Now, any time you have gamers like Jeff Kent, Nomar Garciaparra and Andruw Jones out hurt, your offense is gonna suffer. Those guys are the catalysts for the Dodger offense and they're gonna need them back and healthy if they're gonna make a run for the post-season. The veteran guys need to lead the team. They need to start putting together and manufacturing runs. Juan Pierre has the ability to be one of the most versatile players in the league but he hasn't put it together yet. He still gets on base a lot and steals a lot of bases. But the rest of the team hasn't followed suit. Matt Kemp is a guy I look to. He's got a lot of energy but he hasn't shown the consistency or power a guy his size should. He's gotta be more aggressive at the plate in order for the Dodgers to be successful.

Yes. I can't wait til Sunday! Sunday Night Baseball with JMFM.
Brilliant.
