Save yourself the hassle. If you REALLY have to have Vista, go buy a $300 Dell Home computer with it included, and call it a day and install XP Pro on the one you keep mucking with.

Computers are disposable. Its going to last you 3 to 5 years tops before its obsolete, and everyone else out there that cares HATES Vista with a passion.

I would like to also mention that it if you want this to surf the net, deal with your pictures and home videos, and grab music, that it may be time for you to consider getting a Mac. Windows computers are now relegating to being used for gaming, and running Vista on one of those is suicide.
