I know there was pretty much always a current "Which HDTV should I buy" thread going here, cant find it.

Want like a 42 inch flat panel best possible res, of course will want to think about blu ray and ps3... have a cheapo sony surround sound in a box system already...so guess im ok on sound for now.

talk to me oh geniuses of HDTV...What should i buy?

Can i keep the TV itself under 1200?

Ive seen some LG and Samsung 1080p with 3 hdmi inputs for between 12 -14...that look pretty nice.

Anyone know "the place" to get this kind of stuff... i dont want to end up at best buy getting schtooped if theres a better way/place.
