A California Highway Patrol Captain has been placed on leave while authorities investigate allegations he "fixed" a ticket for the Anaheim Ducks' all-star center.
Capt. Ken Rosenberg, head of the CHP's Santa Ana office that patrols 11 freeways in Orange County, has gone on temporary leave during the internal investigation, said Chief Skip Carter, acting deputy commissioner of the CHP.
Authorities said they are investigating a speeding ticket that was issued March 14 to Ryan Getzlaf, a 22-year-old center for the Anaheim Ducks who played in his first NHL All-Star game this season.
