Remember when all of us LGK.com experts claimed that Dallas would suck this year?

Remember on July 1st, 2007 when we all thought we picked up some really good free agents, or what we thought would be good free agents and Dallas made zero moves?

I even think Dallas' GM or President had to write a letter to their STH acknowledging the STH's concerns over their lack of activity in the free agent signing last summer.

Good steady goaltending+a great mix of veterans and young players can go a long way in the playoffs. Former Kings' assistant coach Dave Tippett deserves a lot of praise as well.

I doubt they'll beat Detroit, but I was on the 'Dallas is going to suck' bandwagon at the start of the year, so I really don't know sh**.

I'm supportive of DL's plans for the Kings, but when you see teams like Dallas and Philly make their respective conference finals, it makes a fan want success now, rather than later. I'll be patient.
