If he comes to UCLA, it would be the first time a major high school prospect from outside California/Oregon joined a Howland team. You cannot overstate the significance of that to a school that has been unable to competitively recruit nationally for decades.
Furthermore, Morgan immediately fills our biggest need in a way that no other player will be able to. The only other "5" on the roster would be Gordon, who is much more raw.
