Saw the doc in Jan at a screening up here in SF & I liked it better than Control.

Didn't concentrate so much on Ian early on, pretty much plays as a chronological story of the band going into nuts & bolts type stuff like the artwork of "Unknown Pleasures" & how that album was recorded, with some funny anecdotes thrown in. Band from broken city does good, film at 11.

Then once Ian starts to unravel it rewinds in time & goes into more depth with him. The rest of the band was totally unaware of what he was going thru, or just totally unwilling to step in. Genesis P-Orridge (Psychic TV) seems to have connected with Ian more than any of his bandmates, or so he/she/it claims. Annik is also interviewed quite a lot, but all they got from Deborah was quotes, nothing on camera.
