That's a lot of payroll coming off the books. However the Dodgers will have to give raises to a lot of the youngsters, Martin, Kemp, Ethier, etc. And will probably entertain the thought of locking them up long term like the Young and Longoria contracts. |
I think we'd all much rather have Ned invest the money in keeping Martin, Kemp, Loney, and Bills around than wasting it on scrubs like Loaiza and Pierre
