And yeah I love my player-it does 1080 DVD up conversion but I mainly use it for the DVDA and SACD properties.

Losesomemore-I just got the Lightbulb Sun DVD. Great stuff. The extended cut of muying new soul in 5.1 is a masterpiece. Almost reminds me a bit of Zeps No Quarter.
I'm trying to understand your issue. You have issues with your dvd player and are trying to upgrade the firmware to resolve these issues? The firmware was sent to you in an ISO file but you can not get to those files because you can not burn to your disc.

You can try downloading a virtual disc drive, load the ISO file onto the virtual disc drive and running the upgrade from there.
