The growing pains of the young Monarchs team are just proof that there are no shortcuts in life. The sins of the past need time to be corrected and it certainly does not help that the biggest hole the Kings have in their prospect pipeline are the ones which take the longest to develop. To me the deciding factors will be patience (by fans and the Kings management and owners as well) and shrewd deal making by Lombardi. At least there is hope that this season was rock bottom and things will look brighter from now on.
I'm not so sure when it comes to the Monarchs..... poor Monarchs fans.
