Thank you for pointing that out, Unruely, but I already read the Reign thread. In fact, that was the thread to which google linked that put me on this site in the first place. Aren't you glad?
With all due respect to Mr. Robitaille and his holiness, what else is he (the company man) going to say? Especially since the press conference was held within days of STH renewals being sent to Royals fans. It's a business decision pure and simple. They may not have a clue where Reading PA is, but they don't want to piss off the 6th largest fanbase in the league. At least until they see how many asses they put in the seats in Ontario.
Besides, Robitaille also made the statement that the Reign would have guys you could see playing in Ontario one night and for the Kings the next. They must really be beefing up the organization if the players on their secondary affiliate are going to be that good.
Maybe next season Danny Taylor can fly back and forth between coasts every day all season long to be goalie for BOTH of the Kings ECHL affiliates.
Kid? Haha, don't I wish! Epic fail? Hardly. Thanks for the wishes, but I'll move along when I'm ready. |
