But seriously, if the FBI uncovered an Iranian spy network stealing US nuclear weapon and defense technology secrets, how long would it take Bush and Cheney's neo-cons to launch some airstrikes? What sanctions will be imposed on Israel? What pressures to get their house in order and settle the Palestinian situation will be brought to bear?
That's right, none. Our political parties only protect Israel slavishly while she does one thing after the next (including spying on our weapons systems and developing a nuclear arsenal) that makes our status among middle east nations more absurd and our actions as Israel's footman more self-destructive.
Isn't there a dignified, intelligent, humane and honest third path for the US to take?
