Not only do I agree with this statement but I'd like to add that, although Pronger was officially the captain of the team, it seems apparent that Scott was a leader on the team and his absence very obviously affected the team.
As the Ducks captain, to pull that kind of stunt is unacceptable, for any reason, and he deserves any applicable fine in the rule book. Maybe they can add a "Burke Rule" in to prevent this nonsense.
