Before anyone is too harsh on Zdeno Chara: Bruins' Chara played with shoulder injury
Big defenceman Zdeno Chara of the Boston Bruins confirmed to CBC Sports what many believed — he was suiting up for the team's first-round series with the Montreal Canadiens despite battling a serious injury.
Chara, 31, has a torn labrum in his left shoulder that will probably require surgery.
