look the Rags spent 1/3 of their cap on Drury/Blomez...and the dirty little Alaskixan seems to have a personal vendetta against the team that got him 2 cups and were responsible for his bloated salary. AND I AM GOING TO STATE THIS CLEARLY...THIS IS ALL OPINION, VENOM AND UNABASHED HATRED the simple truth is...The Rags should beat us. They are top-to-bottom loaded with more talent than we have. Basically we have Marty...and we rode him too hard and Lou hasn't given him the supporting cast he needs to be successful. Seeing him flop to try to even things killed me. Marty is a pro and a gentleman and he got caught trying to play Avery's game. That being said...what the Devils accomplished this year, against all expectations, is an acheivement in itself. New arena, 9 game roadie to start the season, new coach, new system, new players, gomez/rafalski gone...Not making excuses...I am proud of what my team did. Do I like the rags??? **** no...do I wish them well...Hell no...does it chap my ass that they are gonna bounce us...****YES...but I have the consolation of 1995,2000, and 2003 to help me sleep at night. So kiss my ass in Macy's window Leatherface...when Lundquist breaks Marty's records...feel free to send me a postcard from Hell (after it's frozen over...)
