Talking Kings Will Draft Some Great Players '08

Sure we didn't get SStamkos but we are going to get a helluva player at the second slot. And with the way DLombardi deals there's going to be a flurry of deals. I can see Dean packaging some picks to move up,getting more picks by moving down or trading picks to get into next year or 2010 country. Montreal Canadiens built a dynasty in the seventies with this principal. The more kicks a team has the more likely they are going to hit one "outta the park". Would love to see Dean get two top D-men from the first round. I'm thinking Dean will acquire another pick early first round (7-12). And he's going Dman...We may trade an existing forward and a prospect from Manchester or reserve list to do it... with as many Forwards as we have it'll be a good gamble. When a team acquires assets, it takes the surplus and moves it to upgrade weeknesses or transitions for futures...Schenn,Bogosian or maybe Sbisa with some forwards in the second round and packaging for extra picks in the remaining rounds...
