Brutuzzi is a classless POS.
I'm by no means a Crawford apologist, but if all he said was the purposefully ambiguous "pay the price" comment, then The Big Ape has no case (unless he can prove a tacit understanding that the term excluded a punishing legal hit).
He is, to my mind, solely responsible for his actions. If Moore didn't want to fight, big deal. The Canucks could have lined him up legally with good, stiff checks during the game to get the point across.
The f'n Ape should also be suing Brad May, since he was even more visible in the media than was Crawford in the weeks leading up to the incident. My perception is that the players themselves were the ones that ramped up the "frothing at the mouth" reaction.
IMO Bertuzzi should have been kicked out of the league altogether, and that his punishment was an absolute travesty...
