Default Future is Bright?

I noticed an improvement in the second half of the season and wanted to see what this could mean for next season. Usually Kings start off running and fail in the stretch. This year is different, we are improving...So I took a small sample of the last 27 games (basically every game after Christmas) and compared that sample size to playoff teams in the west.

Kings record is 14-11-2 in the last 27

thats 30 out of the possible 54 points. Not too bad.

Now this is where my little analysis may be flawed, I did not include OTL for both LA's stats and the current Playoff teams.

Just basing on Games played, Wins and Loses This is how it looks for LA in that sample size

.518

Now looking
6th 7th and 8th seed in the west:

6.Calgary .515
7.Vancouver .516
8.Nashville .4923

So based on that info, if LA started the season like that have been playing as of late, they would theoretically be in the playoff race.

The reason I posted this is because a) I can't sleep and I'm board and b) We just need a little patience for the team to gel and kick ass

GO KINGS!!!!
