Default Kings ranked number one in...

Having the richest owner in the NHL...

Of course I know you all realize Uncle Phil is rich but there was a Yahoo! article out about NHL owners and their worth.

Quote:

1. Philip F. Anschutz

Team: L.A. Kings

Net Worth: $7.6 billion

Anschutz is probably the most diversified sports team owner in the world through his company AEG. In addition to the Kings, he owns stakes in two European hockey teams, pro basketball's L.A. Lakers and Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy and Houston Dynamo. He knows how to get the most out of his sports holdings. When his teams are playing stretches of away games, he uses their stadiums and arenas to host other events. The Kings' home arena hosted the Grammy's this Sunday.

Also mentions Edward Roski Jr. as a minority owner of the Kings who has 2.3 Billion net worth...so combined the Kings have two owners with almost 10 billion dollars of net worth behind them. Can't we just buy the Stanley Cup?
