I'm watching Nabby dominate the Blue Jackets right now and with it close to the trade deadline, lots of Blake talk, etc I think of the Blake for Nabokov deal that didn't happen because Blake didn't waive his no-trade clause. And something I've been wondering about it for a while is where did the info on this deal come from? Did this come from a legitimate source? Or did it come from some disreputable rumor monger and just get repeated so much here that it took on a life of its own and become LGK truth?

I don't remember and am just looking for some insight on it because it gets brought up a lot.
