This makes me so happy that DL is the GM. There are so many things wrong with this.

First off, It would be a mistake to leave that many holes to be filled for next year. If you thought this year was dreadful wait until that many players get replaced on this team with so many first year players.

Pittsburgh is never going to trade Jordan Stall for a rental player. The Kings will be lucky to get a second/third tier player with a good prospect and a 1st for Blake.

The Kings will not get anything for Wilsie unless he is a throw in with anther move. He hasn't shown anything special in his time here with the team for the last two years. Wilsie is essentially a Kings bust.

Derek Armstrong will not be going anywhere. He is a good utility player for the team. His proper place is the third line but he can fill in on the top six if a player gets injured. On top of that he is a great locker room player. DL should resign Army.

Thornton will give us the same yield as Wilsie.

You would seriously trade two NHL players (a top six forward and top 4 defenseman) for two prospects and a first? Baranka has only seen 1 NHL game and may end up being a top 4. Cherepanov might not ever see North America. First you over value Blake's worth in a trade to Pittsburgh and then you completely undervalue two other Kings players in a trade to the NYR.

Then there's your line up.

You're going to put a player on the first line who hasn't played a day of North American hockey? Sullly is a third line grinder? Stall will not be here at least not in a trade for Blake. On defense you're putting in 3 players who have a total of 1 game of NHL experience between them. Baranka certainly will not start as a second line pairing. Hickey will need at least a year or two grooming in the AHL. Doughty...you're talking Doughty? This team needs to finish the season before they will even know where they will pick. I wouldn't mind seeing Doughty. He is a good player. I don't know if he is NHL ready. Most defenseman spend some time in the AHL before breaking into the NHL.

Anyways, that's all for now.
