Kopitar is most definitely all that and a bag of chips, no doubt and I agree with you. He is rarely dominating in the circle which I equate to mean that there is room to improve. Armstrong is also usually stronger in the circle -- but again not dominating so there is also room for improvement.

Handzus has been excruciatingly bad in the circle. Giuliano and Thornton have had .500 nights or better and other nights well below .500.

When I speak of puck possession, I mean solely from the face-off. Once Kopitar has the puck, his skills are there. I get that. I seriously question what Crawford and the other coaches are doing to make this team better than they are in the circle. The Oilers -- meaning all players not just centers -- practice face-offs regularly and in most practices. The Kings would be better if they did the same.
