Agree and disagree. The tinkering has to stop in regards to line changes as you have noted in this very article. Players need to play together to learn each others habits and anticipate the others actions. Blind passes from Gretz to Kurri were not really blind...Gretz knew where Kurri would be and Kurri knew Gretz would do what he did, you get that from playing together not having your lines mixed up all the time (of course it doesn't hurt to be Gretz and Kurri either).

The argument that this is his reaction because he can't get out there on the ice himself should be the argument for a first year coach, not a seasoned veteran like Crawford.

For this team to be so pitiful in the faceoff is another sign that this large coaching staff isn't doing the right things...and that blame falls on Crawford. He needs to kick some of his coaching staffs butts for this, how can we suck so bad at a fundimental that is 100% coachable?

Won't even get into the whole Cloutier issue, there is simply no defence for the teams actions in that debocle.

I really hope Crawford can change his ways or depart this team at the end of the season, while some players like Brown are performing well, I question how much that has to do with this coaching staff and how much is just him getting to the point we all hoped he could. Either way I don't see that Crawford or his staff have much to be proud of at this point in the season.
