Default Why was Garon not signed by the Kings?

Garon's stats last year were decent. He was a good, not great, goalie. Considering what we had I am still unclear why he was not signed. Anyone ever hear of why they did not want to sign Garon?

Again, I think it's all part of Lombardi's conspiracy. Same reason Crawford switches players. One more year of mediocre play to get a good pick and really build this team up.
