Default CBGB's Delicious Thoughts

The best part of tonight was after the game going to the bar downstairs. Dustin Brown, Derek Armstrong, Willsie, Kyle Calder and Brad Stuart were all watching the slow motion replay of Raitis Ivanans right fist connecting with Freddie Mercury's jaw. All of them were laughing.

What I was laughing about was....

a) Thornton's cheap shot elbow to Brad May's grill which went uncalled. May was rendered useless the rest of the game.

b) Dustin Brown's check on Corey Perry which snapped back his head and laid him on the ice. (despite CBGB's man love for CP, it was a fantastic check)

c) Matt Schneiders 100 mph laser blast into his own player leaving him injured and unable to continue.

d) Giguere getting pulled and having to listen to CBGB and Johnny (the mayor of 119) bitch at him the rest of the game (he glared often - he wasn't liking us much... then again, many don't)

e) Brad Stuart's absolutely devastating injury filled check on Travis Moen. I don't usually like it when players are injured, but Travis Moen can go **** himself.

This was a win that we can hold onto for at least a week.

The Stanley Cup champions lost to the worst team in hockey.

CBGB also heard that Matty Norstrom's family went back to Sweden and Matty will retire from the NHL and play in his home country when the season ends. :(
