KINGS RECALL FORWARD MATT MOULSON FROM MANCHESTER (AHL)

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Matt Moulson from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Moulson, 24, has played in 12 games with the Kings this season and has three points – including three goals -- and two penalty minutes. With the Monarchs, he has played in 31 games this season and has 31 points (16-15=31) and 13 penalty minutes. The 6-1, 210-pound Moulson, who was originally selected by Pittsburgh in the ninth-round (263rd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, was signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on September 1, 2006. He is a native of North York, Ontario.

The Kings open a two-game homestand tomorrow, Tuesday, against Detroit at STAPLES Center at 7:30 p.m. The game will air on FSN West, KTLK AM 1150 and on the Kings Radio Network.
