FIGHT THE POWER!!!!
The thing is idiot-proof.
It's got a light that blinks green about a second after turn the faucet on.
The faucet mount Brita has a switching lever on it.
You can choose "Brontosaurus Tap water regular flow" or "Terrradactyl Tap water spray flow" or "Brita filtered water".
The green light, I guess, will turn red when all of the charcoal/unicorn hair filter needs changing.
Like I said, I got silver, because it's a big thing attached to you faucet and could be an eyesore. Siver matches the faucet and stainless sink I have...also it could get in the way of washing dishes...I only wash shot glasses and cashmere bikinis in my sink so it doesn't get in my way.
Now that the plumber is going to replace the broken-off(I didn't do it) shut off valve under my kitchen sink, I am going to seriously consider an undercounter water filter...but for now, the Brita will do.
The real trick will be finding a shower filter that doesn't take all of my water pressure away.

The water in downtown LA is sulpher-y and I'd like to not have to smell it...ever.

**I was kidding about the shot glasses and bikinis...the unicorn hair is real, though.
