i wish i could find the post i made just after they re-signed Backstrom, and i said that the Kings needed to figure out a way to pry Harding out of Minnesota.

it was greeted with a slew of what about Bernier? arguments to the effect of it somehow being an issue with his development because he and Harding were much closer in age and Jon was the destination, etc.

my argument was, GOD FORBID the Kings have a problem in net where they'd be FORCED to decide who to eventually move
