Hope; When you're as co-dependent as I am, it's all you got. Last nights game had more passion than I have seen in quite some time.
Blake is on his way to re-earning the "C" that he unceremoniusly ripped off his jersey not so long ago, IF, and only IF he continues to play with passion and gritty determination for the rest of the season will he have earned it back...IMO. Pairing him with JMFJ seems to be a tonic for him.
As for the rest of this "Team", if they continue to play as they played last night, win or lose, night after night, this season may be interesting to watch and entertaining. I hope this wasn't just a flash in the pan response, only time will tell. December is the telling month for so much, I will reserve judgment on this season until January.
Hopefully this is not just another momentary spot of light before the lights go all the way out. After 40(+) years of following this team I can't get too excited about this seemingly positive "Turn-around" game.
Having said all this, I was pleased with this win and I hope that it is a sign of better things to come. |
