Ever since this rumor came out I've thought it could happen. TB definitely needs a proven netminder to go deep in the playoffs, and Dallas, despite having the 5th best Goals For in the league, can use all the offensive firepower they can get. I think Mike Smith can really carry the starting load in Dallas. He reminds of a younger Turco with size and puck handling skills. After seeing him play a few games a while ago I always thought he will be a future #1. |
